This weekend, David and I drove to Viroqua, Wisconsin to celebrate David’s 28th birthday. It was such a fun little trip! It was my first time trout fishing (the real way… with waders on!) and I think I’m officially hooked. The Viroqua area is such a beautiful part of the state— the driftless area is truly breathtaking. Lots of rolling hills, winding creeks, and miles + miles of farmland. We trout fished, hiked, had a picnic, ate dinner at an incredible farm to table restaurant (the Driftless Cafe!), explored Viroqua + the surrounding areas, and stayed at the cutest little airbnb. We made amazing memories— this is truly a trip I’ll always remember.

That’s all I’ve got this week, just a little highlight. This was one of my happiest moments from 2021 so far. With that, I’ll leave you with a quote that is inspiring me 🙂
Your ambition should be to get as much life out of living as you possibly can— as much enjoyment, as much interest, as much experience, as much understanding. And not to simply be what is generally called a “success”.
